Advocacy Is a Core Part of the National Black Chamber of Commerce’s mission.

For more than three decades, the National Black Chamber of Commerce has served as one of  the nation’s established voices on issues affecting Black-owned businesses. Through  congressional testimony, engagement with federal agencies, policy recommendations, coalition  leadership, and thought leadership, NBCC has helped ensure that the perspectives of  entrepreneurs are represented where public policy is developed.

Our approach is guided by a single principle: evaluating legislation, regulation, and public policy  through their impact on entrepreneurship, business competitiveness, capital formation, job  creation, and economic opportunity.

Working alongside policymakers, business leaders, and strategic partners, NBCC advances  practical, market-based solutions that strengthen the environment in which Black-owned  businesses can start, grow, compete, and succeed.

Under the leadership of Charles H. DeBow III, the Chamber continues this tradition with a  renewed commitment to principled engagement, informed advocacy, and measurable economic  impact.
